MIKE FELLOWS

THE COACHES

Mike Fellows and Liz Bergstrom have a vast knowledge and love for hockey, especially when it comes to goalies. Mike has been coaching goalies for 13 years, he started coaching at the Rousseau’s Hockey clinic in 2005 and continues to coach there to this day. Mike worked with Tim Thomas, formerly of the Boston Bruins, at the Tim Thomas Hockey Camp from 2009 to 2017. Between the years of 2010 and 2016, Mike was the goalie coach for the University of Southern Maine Women’s Ice Hockey team. The University of Southern Maine is where Mike and Liz meet. As of 2018, Mike was the goalie coaching for the Greely Boys Varsity Hockey team.
Liz was the starting goalie for the University of Southern Maine from 2011 to 2015. Liz started her coaching career in 2008 by helping coach private goalie lessons in her home state of Minnesota for high school goalies. Liz then began coaching with Mike at the Tim Thomas Hockey Camp between the years of 2013 and 2015. From 2016 to 2023, Liz was an assistant coach, specializing in goaltending and defense, for Cheverus High School where the team won two state championships. Currently, Liz is an assistant and goaltending coach for the University of New England.
In addition to a successful first summer of Goalie Word, we have had the pleasure of working with SMYHA, BYHA as well as the some of the teams at the Casco Bay Hockey Association.

An addition to our staff is Coach Trevor Paul. Trevor was the Hebron Academy B hockey coach and has been coaching players and goalies for 10+ years, and is an alumnus of Falmouth High. Trevor is a trusted extension of Goalie World. He comes to the ice with the care, passion, and knowledge to make any goalie better.
